(Dallas, TX) — North Texas counties are reporting 54 new coronavirus cases over the weekend.

One of those new cases is in Parker County, where County Judge Pat Deen posted on social media that they had been notified late Sunday afternoon about a resident testing positive for Covid-19.  No other information was given.  Johnson County reports two cases.  Two more cases were reported in Ellis County. Tarrant County reported five new cases for a total of 47, including one death.

No cases have been reported in Hood, Erath, Palo Pinto or Somervell County.
