(Dallas, TX) — The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly back in negotiations with representatives of quarterback Dak Prescott.
ESPN says the team is still interested in signing Prescott to a long-term contract. The two sides hadn’t spoken since earlier this month, when the Cowboys used the franchise tag on Prescott. That prevented him from talking with other teams, and it guarantees him a salary of nearly 27-million-dollars for the 2020 season.
The franchise has until July 15th to iron out a long-term deal with Prescott.
