(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth Fire Department recruits aren’t putting out fires yet, but they’re helping out where they can during the outbreak.

On Thursday morning, the recruits bagged groceries, cleaned shopping carts, and carried out bags for seniors.  Tom Thumb and Albertsons set aside the first two hours of the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the elderly, pregnant women, and people with compromised immune systems.

The recruits worked at ten Fort Worth grocery stores on Thursday morning.
