(Austin, TX) — By executive order of Gov. Greg Abbott, everyone who travels by car to Texas from Louisiana will face a 14-day quarantine.
In a press conference on Sunday, Abbott expanded the Louisiana quarantine, which had previously applied only to people coming from New Orleans, to include the entire state. The expanded order now includes people flying in from California, Washington state, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Miami.
The order also includes travelers from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
