FWPD Taking More Precautions On Calls

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth Police are taking more precautions when officers come in contact with the public.

Officers responding to calls began wearing N95 masks and protective gloves on Saturday. In another step being taken to fight the coronavirus, the department is making sure its patrol cars are disinfected. Two Fort Worth police officers have tested positive for the virus.

The department reports that both officers are isolated at home and are recovering.
