(Mineral Wells, Tx) – Officials at Palo Pinto General Hospital say a county resident has tested positive for the Coronavirus.

The hospital says the person was not tested at the hospital and they have no other information regarding the person.  According to the Mineral Wells Index, the confirmation came after PPGH announced on Tuesday that one person tested at the hospital for COVID-19 was confirmed positive, however that person did not live in the county and was sent home to quarantine.

The patient is said to be “doing well” and recovering at home. No other information about the person was given.
