(Weatherford, Tx) – Search Continues for a Weatherford man accused of shooting and beating another man then leaving him in a field to die.
The Parker County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Anthony Thomas Callahan has been on the run since the March 22nd incident. Callahan and the victim were reportedly doing Meth at his home on Cindy Lane in Weatherford, when the two men got into an argument and Callahan shot the 36-year-old victim in the leg.
Investigators say Callahan forced the victim into his truck and drove to a field near Springtown where he beat him with a tire iron then took off. The man managed to go for help at a home near Midway Road. He was taken to a Fort Worth hospital with numerous injuries.
Parker County authorities are looking for information on Callahan’s whereabouts and warn the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
