Abbott Will Reduce Some Coronavirus Restrictions Soon

(Austin, TX) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott plans to ease some coronavirus restrictions on businesses in the near future.

He told reporters on Friday it’s obvious Texans want to get back to work but noted some safety strategies are still needed. Abbott is planning to announce the measures this week. As of Sunday, Texas is reporting nearly 13-thousand-500 cases of the virus, including 271 deaths. More than two-thousand patients have recovered.

The Governor plans to hold a press conference at 11:30a Monday.
