(Wise County, Tx) – Wise County reported its first coronavirus death this week.

No information has been released about the person that died.  There have been seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wise County, two in the Decatur area, two in the Chico area, with other cases confirmed in the Paradise, Rhome and Bridgeport areas.

Health officials say one of the patients has recovered.
