(Mineral Wells, Tx) – Grammy award winning singer Kelly Clarkson shared some love for Mineral Wells when she highlighted the school district’s effort to feed kids while schools are closed.

On her Kelly Clarkson Show Facebook page, the Burleson native posts videos for #GoodNeighbor positive stories about happenings in various communities. Earlier this month, Clarkson posted a video of a group of volunteers with the nonprofit Backpack Buddies and workers from Mineral Wells ISD food services, that spend their days preparing more than 1,000 school breakfasts and lunches for students free of charge at Travis Elementary.
