Texas Governor Says He Won’t Be Rushed Into Reopening State

(Austin, TX) —  Gov. Greg Abbott says he plans to reopen the Texas economy soon, but he’s not going to be rushed.

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is pushing for a quick reopening, saying the damage done to the economy is worse than what the virus has been doing.

Abbott plans to make an announcement Monday, April 27th about his strategy for reopening Texas.
