(Arlington, TX) — Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson says he plans to retire from the department in June.

Johnson joined the Arlington PD in 1997 and was named interim police chief in 2012, before being appointed as police chief the following year.  He was recently a finalist for the position of Plano Police Chief, but didn’t get the job.
