(Austin, TX) — As of Friday, travelers entering Texas from Louisiana will no longer be required to self-quarantine for 14-days.
The restriction took effect a month ago in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Gov. Greg Abbott’s order on Monday about reopening Texas businesses also announced the upcoming end of the Louisiana travel restriction.
People flying in from California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Washington still have to self-quarantine, as well as travelers from Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Miami.
