(Granbury, Tx) – The Hood County Attorney Matt Mills says he won’t be prosecuting anyone who violates Gov. Greg Abbott’s COVID-19-related orders pertaining to what businesses can and cannot reopen today.

Mills tells the Hood County News, “While I can’t prevent someone from getting arrested, I’m not going to prosecute someone for violating these unjust and unconstitutional orders”.

Granbury City Manager Chris Coffman added that Granbury police “will enforce the law if there’s somebody that will prosecute the case.”
