One Killed In Crash Of Small Plane At Spinks Airport

(Fort Worth, TX) — Federal investigators are looking into the cause of a small plane crash at Spinks Airport that killed the pilot on Thursday.

The Cessna 210 went down at about 3 p.m. near Stone Road and Abner Drive, shortly after takeoff.  The plane burned after the crash, and the pilot was dead at the scene.  His identity hasn’t been released.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the accident.
