Suspect Shot During Fort Worth Home Invasion

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth police are investigating after a suspect was shot in an attempted home invasion Sunday.

Police say two men kicked in the front door of a home on the 2700 block of Northwest 34th Street around 6:30 a.m., causing the homeowner to shoot at them.  The suspects ran off.  Officers found two suspects and took them into custody before finding a third who had been shot.

The man’s daughter reported his injury, which has been linked to the homeowner.  There is no word on the alleged suspect’s condition.
