Driver License Offices Not Open Yet

(Dallas, TX) — Texas driver’s license offices aren’t yet open.

The Department of Public Safety says no date is set to reopen the license centers. But, officials say when they do open back up, everyone will first have had to go online to make an appointment. Those can be set for up to six months into the future. The expiration dates have been extended on all licenses that normally would have expired starting March 13th to date.

Those with such licenses will have 60-days to get another one once the offices open up again.
