Officer Injured During Pursuit Of Wrong-Way Driver On I-30

(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth officer is recovering from injuries suffered in a crash that happened during the pursuit of a wrong-way driver on I-30.

Police say somebody was driving a pickup eastbound on the westbound lanes near South Cherry Lane on Monday morning. The pursuit ended about four miles later when the pickup ran head-on into a car near Hulen Street.

A responding officer was injured in the accident, the extent of the officer’s injuries is unknown.
