(Burleson, TX) — A fatal one car crash in Burleson late last night has taken the life of one teen and injured another.

Police say just before 9:30 pm, a car smashed into a tree on NW John Jones Drive near Southwest Wilshire Blvd in Burleson.  Two people were in the car and one of them, 16-year-old Jayden “Tre” Allison, died at the scene.  Allison, a Junior at Burleson High School, played both football and basketball for the Elks.  The unidentified teen driving the car is in the hospital in unknown condition.

Burleson police closed the south-bound side of John Jones for hours to investigate the crash scene. ​
