(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth Police Department is dropping all rioting charges against dozens of people arrested in last week’s protests.
Police arrested nearly 50 people on May 31st for rioting during a protest on the West Seventh Bridge. Officers used tear gas during a clash with protesters that refused to leave the bridge.
Since that time, police say protests in Fort Worth have been peaceful.
