Dallas Ranks Fifth In Dog Attacks On Postal Carriers

(Dallas, TX) — The U.S. Postal Service ranks Dallas number-five in the nation when it comes to dog attacks on mail carriers.

In 2019, there were 51 reported dog attacks on postal deliverers. The only other Texas city on the top-ten list is Houston at number one, with 85 recorded attacks.

Texas ranks second on the postal dog-bite list, with a total of 491 dog attacks across the state.
