(Dallas, TX) — Nearly a dozen North Texas locations of 24 Hour Fitness are closing, among a total of 26 in Texas.
The California-based gym chain announced on its website on Monday that it’s filing for bankruptcy because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the North Texas closures include two locations in Dallas, plus gyms in Cedar Hill, Bedford, Carrollton, Frisco, Irving, Fort Worth, Lewisville, North Richland Hills, and Plano.
In addition, three Austin-area locations are closing, plus 12 in the Houston area.
