Fort Worth PD Officer Still Critical After Being Hit By Fleeing Car

(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth police officer is still in critical condition after he was hit by a car over the weekend.

When police tried to pull over a stolen car on Saturday night, a chase resulted. The driver deliberately hit Officer Matthew Brazeal as he was putting out stop sticks on the North Freeway. Brazeal suffered life-threatening injuries and has undergone several surgeries.

Police caught and arrested the suspect, 38-year-old Ronnie Jackson Junior. He faces several charges, including attempted capital murder.
