Fort Worth Resident Wins $2M In State Lottery

(Fort Worth, TX) — A lucky Fort Worth resident is a new millionaire.

The Texas Lottery says the winner claimed a $2 million Powerball prize earlier this month. The lucky ticket was a Quick Pick with Power Play that was bought at the RaceTrac on Camp Bowie Boulevard. The ticket scored a million-dollars by matching all five of numbers, but not the Powerball number. The winner added a Power Play number, doubling the prize amount.

The new millionaire decided to remain anonymous.
