Arlington Man Accused Of Killing Woman In Kentucky

(Fort Worth, TX) — An Arlington man is locked up in connection with the death of a Granbury woman found floating in a lake in Western Kentucky.

Jeffrey Rogers was taken into custody Tuesday, several days after the body of Traci Jones was discovered floating in a container last weekend at Kentucky Lake. Jones, who was 41, is originally from Granbury but had reportedly recently moved to Erath County. The relationship between the two is unknown. The 60 year old Rogers is currently in the Tarrant County Jail, charged with one count of abuse of a corpse and one one tampering with evidence.

Law enforcement from Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee are all involved in the case.
