(Undated)  —  AAA Texas is issuing its annual reminder for drivers not to leave children or pets in hot vehicles in the summer heat.

Temperatures inside a car on a sunny day can climb to deadly levels in ten minutes.  Children are especially prone to heat stroke because their bodies heat up much faster than those of adults.

Dogs cool themselves by sweating through their paws and by panting.  If they breathe overheated air, it can kill them.
