Dozens Of Residents Evacuated From Lake Worth Nursing Home

(Lake Worth, TX) — The state is investigating a nursing home in Lake Worth that was reportedly too understaffed to care for its residents, including coronavirus patients.

The Texas Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday ordered the evacuation of 63 residents from Lake Worth Nursing Home on Wells Drive. About two-dozen residents had tested positive for the virus.

The state so far says that it’s looking into compliance problems at the facility.
