Some Texas Teachers Choosing Retirement

(San Antonio, TX) — The rising number of coronavirus cases is not stopping Texas and other states from reopening schools this fall.

But a growing number of Texas teachers feel they’re being put at risk. Clay Robison, with the Texas State Teachers Association, says many are now considering quitting their jobs.

The state’s largest teacher’s union continues to push for virtual learning and a mask requirement for everybody on campus.
