(Austin, TX) — Two white students are suing the University of Texas-Austin after being rejected by the school.
Students for Fair Admissions filed a lawsuit claiming the pair were denied admission because of their race. Court documents say the two students have since enrolled at another school in the Lone Star State, but would be willing to transfer when U-T “stops discriminating against applicants on the basis of race and ethnicity.”
This is not the first time the group has sued U-T, but a school spokesperson told the Austin American-Statesman they’re confident it will be dismissed like the previous case.
