TxDOT: Dallas, Fort Worth Among Worst Cities For Motorcycle Fatalities

(Dallas, TX) — The Texas Department of Transportation says Dallas and Fort Worth are among the worst cities in Texas in terms of the number of fatal motorcycle accidents.

TxDOT is trying to bring awareness to the problem with an annual campaign called “Share the Road, Look Twice for Motorcycles.” The agency says 412 motorcyclists were killed on Texas roads last year, and more than 18-hundred were seriously injured.

The top five cities for motorcycle fatalities were Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin.
