Gov. Abbott Skipping RNC To Focus On COVID Pandemic

(Austin, TX) — Governor Greg Abbott’s continued focus on the coronavirus pandemic will cause him to miss the Republican National Convention.

He let that decision be known in a letter to RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will go in Abbott’s place.
