(Fort Worth, TX) — The self-proclaimed world’s largest honky-tonk is reopened in Fort Worth, but as a restaurant instead of a bar.
Billy Bob’s Texas has added a kitchen and obtained a permit to call itself a restaurant. Billy Bob’s closed in June after Governor Greg Abbott shut down bars as an anti-pandemic measure. The new restaurant opened Thursday with pandemic precautions in place, such as limited capacity and temperature screening.
The Bellamy Brothers are scheduled to appear live tonight.
