Report: American Airlines May Stop Certain Flights

(Fort Worth, TX) — American Airlines may be stopping certain flights to smaller cities.

An executive tells CNBC up to 30 destinations may be completely canceled, but noted nothing has been finalized. The North Texas-based airline may start dropping flights starting next week.

American has received almost six-billion-dollars from the federal government since the coronavirus pandemic started. Part of the deal required flights to not be canceled through September 30th. New negotiations are going on at Capitol Hill for a new aid plan.
