100th Meeting Between TCU & SMU Back On

(Dallas, TX) — The annual football game between Texas Christian University and Southern Methodist University, which was earlier called off, is on again.

The 100th Iron Skillet matchup is now set for Saturday, September 12th, in Fort Worth. The game had been scheduled for September 26th in Dallas, but it was canceled after TCU chose to play a Football Championship Subdivision team when the Big 12 said its members could only face one out-of-conference opponent. On Friday, that school withdrew, freeing the date on TCU’s schedule.

TCU starts classes today.
