(Mineral Wells, Tx) – Aug. 18th, It’s the first day back to class for Mineral Wells ISD students.
The district says nearly 800 students have opted for online classes. Students enrolled in remote learning must stay in the program for a full grading period, however, parents can request their child return to in person classes at the end of each grading period. Vice Versa, if a student is on campus and wants to switch to remote learning over COVID-19 concerns, the parent just needs to work with the Principal at their school to make that happen.
Mineral Wells ISD says all the campuses were cleaned and disinfected over the summer, additionally safety and sanitation precautions have been put in place for school buses and food service.
