(Richardson, TX) — The Region Ten Education Service Center says an Internet outage that affected dozens of North Texas school districts on Thursday is now fixed.
Thousands of teachers and students trying to get some virtual learning done were stuck with no Internet for about two-and-a-half hours.
A contractor that supplies Internet connectivity to 54 school districts says the problem was caused by the failure of a piece of hardware, which has been replaced.
