North Texas Heat Breaks Decades Old Record

(Fort Worth, TX) — The heat continues across Texas.

It’s expected to be a hot one again today, but North Texas can officially say Saturday was the hottest it’s been on August 29th in decades. The temperature reached 106 degrees at DFW Airport.

The old record happened in 1943 and 1951 when the mercury touched 105 degrees.
