Big Tex Is At State Fairgrounds, Wearing A Mask

(Dallas, TX) — The pandemic has reduced the State Fair of Texas to a drive-thru event, but Big Tex will be there anyway.

The famous 55-foot-tall cowboy was reinstalled in Big Tex Circle at Fair Park on Wednesday morning. In keeping with the times, he’s wearing a pandemic mask that measures about seven feet by four feet.

The Big Tex installation was open only to the media, but a special Big Tex photo drive-thru event is scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.
