(Fort Worth, TX) — A security officer who killed a church shooter in North Texas late last year will face no charges.
A Tarrant County grand jury on Monday declined to indict Jack Wilson for the fatal shooting at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement in December. Keith Kinnunen shot and killed two members of the church during a worship service on December 29th. Wilson, the head of the church’s volunteer security team, shot Kinnunen in the head and killed him.
Wilson, who lives in Hood County, received the Governor’s Medal of Courage in January for stopping the shooter.
