Fort Worth Mural Created To Honor Fallen Police Officer

(Fort Worth, TX) — A mural honoring fallen Dallas Police Officer Patrick Zamarripa is now on display in Fort Worth.

The community came together Sunday as Artist Ernesto Ortiz, a childhood friend of Zamarripa, painted the mural outside of Straight Edge Barbershop in Fort Worth, where the officer used to get haircuts.

Zamarripa was one of five officers killed four years ago in the downtown Dallas Police ambush.
