Police Look For Suspect In Shooting At Concert In Ellis County

(Waxahachie, TX) — The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at an outdoor concert in Ferris late Saturday night.

A man was shot once in the abdomen at around midnight at a property on Risinger Road where two-to-three-thousand people were attending a concert. Investigators say a disturbance prompted a man to fire shots into the crowd. The victim was flown to a Dallas hospital, where he was in stable condition on Sunday afternoon.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s.
