Actor Eddie Hassell Killed In Weekend Shooting Near Arlington

(Grand Prairie, TX) — Actor Eddie Hassell is dead after being shot during a possible carjacking.

TMZ reports the actor from NBC’s “Surface” was found shot early Sunday morning on W. Bardin Rd in Grand Prairie. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. Police have released few details about, or a motive for the shooting. Hassell was also in the Oscar nominated film “The Kids Are All Right”.

The 30-year-old actor was born in Corsicana and lived in Waco.
