Cowboys Try Out Two Veteran Punters

(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys are working out a pair of veteran punters.

The team brought in Marquette King and Colton Schmidt for a workout.  Dallas punter Chris Jones underwent core muscle surgery last week and is likely out for the rest of the season.  Rookie Hunter Niswander replaced him against the Steelers and had two punts of 39 and 40 yards.

The Cowboys are on a bye this week.
