(Granbury, Tx) – Granbury’s Night of Lights Christmas Parade has been canceled this year due to COVID-19.

The annual event that takes place the night after Thanksgiving and draws crowds of locals as well as tourists to the historic square in Granbury.  Santa’s House in the gazebo on the courthouse lawn has also been canceled this year.  City officials say the decision not to host the large public gathering was made by the Historic Granbury Merchants Association.

Visit Granbury’s website says the event has been “postponed until 2021.”
