(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Tarrant County is issuing a public health warning due to rising coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.

Public Health Director Vinny Taneja told county commissioners today over 15% of the county’s hospitalized patients have coronavirus with an average of 701 hospitalizations per day.  Taneja says he’s not going to issue any kind of order but wants people to be more careful and start flattening the curve again.

He hopes bars will voluntarily close and essential businesses to reduce capacity to 50%.
