(Lubbock, TX) — A drug similar to the one taken by President Trump when he was infected with coronavirus is now available in Texas.

Governor Greg Abbott says the antibody treatment is being sent to 300 hospitals.  It takes about an hour to give it to patients recently infected.

The state is due for another experimental antibody drug in the coming weeks as it battles surging coronavirus cases.
