Tarrant County Officials Meet To Discuss Extension Of Mask Mandate

(Fort Worth, TX) — Tarrant County commissioners meet today to discuss a possible extension of the county’s disaster declaration and mask mandate.

Both orders are scheduled to expire November 30th. Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley says he’s motivated by two priorities: keeping the hospitals open, and keeping businesses open.

Whitley says any shutdown order for businesses will come from Gov. Greg Abbott, if coronavirus hospitalizations reach a certain level.
