Fort Worth Fire Marshals on Lookout for COVID-19 Code Compliance

(Ft. Worth, TX) — Fire marshals in Fort Worth stepped up patrols over the holiday weekend to check for compliance of COVID-19 protocols among businesses.

Inspectors are checking area restaurants and nightspots to make sure customers and businesses are following state laws. Fire Chief Jim Davis says businesses have been cooperating so far.

But he says if there’s any question whether capacity limits are being followed, they’ll order everyone outside and count them one by one.
