(Weatherford, Tx) – The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission has temporarily shut down a Weatherford nightclub for violating Covid-19 restrictions.

According to TABC, during a Nov. 20th inspection at Old School Texas West Bar & Grill located on Tin Top Road, patrons were seen not wearing face masks or complying with social distancing rules.  TABC has suspended Old School Texas’ permits for 30 days.

On a post to their Facebook page, Old School Texas West stated “Although we made every effort to comply we are still held responsible because TABC expects us to enforce the mandate. Now once again our employees are without work because we could not convince people to put on a mask.”
