(Arlington, TX) — A major event normally held in Las Vegas is expected to bring tens of thousands of visitors to North Texas over the next 10-days.
Wrangler’s National Finals Rodeo gets underway today at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Mike Crum, director of Fort Worth’s Public Events department, says 14-thousand fans are expected to attend every night. He says supporting events in Fort Worth will be an economic benefit to the area.
Crum says city officials are concerned about the current spike in coronavirus cases, but they plan to provide temperature checks and masks.
